Easy Homemade Applesauce
This easy peasy applesauce recipe is a must-make during the Fall season. Hand-picked apples from the farm blended with cinnamon and brown sugar make this homemade applesauce just perfect.

Ingredients
- 6 pounds apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 8 slices each
- 1 cup water
- juice of 1 lemon (approximately 2 tablespoons)
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a large pot and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 25 minutes
- Carefully puree in a food processor or blender (don’t fill too full; split into two portions if needed) until desired consistency is reached
Notes
This applesauce will keep well in the fridge for awhile if stored in jars with tightly fitted lids
