Typically, having a bunch of overripe bananas lying around my kitchen means only one thing. Bananas Bread is acomin'! But, I decided to switch it up recently and make an easy Banana Sour Cream Cake.

Got ripe bananas that need to be used? Ready for a delicious banana dessert? Try Banana Cake with sour cream.

Need to ripen your bananas so they are ready to bake with? You want them with brown spots so they are naturally sweetened. Check out my tips!

Prepare your salted caramel sauce. This is going to be incorporated into the frosting. But it won't go to waste! Add more over the top of your cake or enjoy it as an ice cream topping or with fruit and muffins too.

Prepare your buttercream frosting with the paddle attachment on your KitchenAid mixer.

If this cake isn't gobbled up, be sure to place it in an airtight container for 4 days. It can be frozen too for up to 3 mos!
