BAKERY-STYLE ICED EASTER COOKIES (BLACK & WHITE BAKERY-STYLE)

My kids love the soft texture and large size of these classic bakery cookies. And, of course, they love the icing!

The classic black and white cookie is cakey and soft and, very importantly, large! And, as its name states, it has half black icing and half white.

The icing is actually spread onto the bottom of the cookie, the flat side, which helps give this cookie it's unique look with the rounded bottom.

Nothing screams Easter more than a palette of pastel colors.

Let the cookies cool completely before icing them. Less is more in terms of food coloring!
