- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 10 ounces marshmallows about 40
- green food coloring
- 14.9 ounces Lucky Charms cereal divided
- 12 ounces white baking chocolate such as Bakers or Ghirardelli
Grease a 13x9x2 inch baking pan with butter. Pour box of cereal into a large bowl. Separate marshmallows from oat pieces and place in separate bowls. Set wire rack on parchment lined baking sheet. Set these all aside
In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Stir in 2-3 drops green food coloring. Add oat pieces of Lucky Charms cereal. Stir until evenly coated. Using buttered spatula or wax paper evenly press mixture into prepared pan. Allow to cool. Once cooled, cut into 16 squares using a sharp knife
Melt white chocolate in medium bowl for 60 seconds at 50% power, stir and continue to microwave in intervals of 30 seconds at 50% power until completely melted and smooth, stirring in between. Once completely melted, dip one side of each Lucky Charms treat into the chocolate, allowing excess to drip into bowl and place on wire rack. Immediately sprinkle tops of treats with Lucky Charms marshmallows before the chocolate sets. Continue dipping and sprinkling until all treats have been dipped. Allow to set completely
