Combine heavy whipping cream, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt in the bowl of a bowl fitted with the paddle attachment.
2 cups heavy whipping cream, ⅔ cup unsweetened dark cocoa powder, ⅔ cup powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, ¼ teaspoon fine salt
Beat at low speed for 20-30 seconds until ingredients begin to combine then turn mixer to high speed and beat until stiff peaks form, about 1-2 minutes.
